
Donna Smolik is an internationally known dollhouse miniature artist who has been creating exquisite miniature artwork for over 16 years. Her specialty includes creating "Slices", the miniature sticks used to create her fabulous, lifelike miniature food reproductions. Donna insists on complete artistic control of all her handcrafted designs. All "Slices" are meticulously handcrafted by the artist to exacting standards. Donna's miniature food reproductions have been showcased at many museums and art collections including the Smithsonian Institute, The Washington Doll's House and Toy Museum, the Houston Museum of Natural History, the Toy and Miniature Museum of Kansas City, the Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls and Toys, and the Dallas Museum of the Southwest.
When she is not travelling the world, Donna resides with her family in Texas. Her other passions include gourmet cooking, nature, theater, community service and her pets, which reside with her at her home on Eagle Mountain Lake.
